Academic Advisory Office
Welcome
This office functions as a convenient first point of contact for students who wish to seek advice on general issues that may arise from their relationship with the University. Information is also provided which will assist students in accessing information on regulations and progression routes to their degree.
Any student requiring help on their general experience of University life is encouraged to make contact with the Office. The Office also provides an ombudsman-like role for students who may be encountering difficulties in their programme of study. In the last Academic Year 20% of the student population availed of the services provided by the Office, the category of students seeking advice ranged from 1st year undergraduate to those in the final year of their Ph.D.

Déanann an oifig comhordú ar chóras meantóireachta a dhíríonn ar thacú le mic léinn chéad bliana agus iad ag dul i dtaithí ar shaol na hOllscoile. Moltar d’aon mhac léinn a bhfuil cúnamh uaidh/uaithi le haon ghné dá saol san Ollscoil teagmháil a dhéanamh leis an Oifig. Feidhmíonn an Oifig mar a bheadh ombudsman ar son mac léinn a bhfuil deacrachtaí acu ina gcúrsaí staidéir.
An Bhliain Acadúil seo d’imigh tharainn, bhain 20% de phobal na mac léinn feidhm as seirbhísí na hoifige; cuireadh comhairle ar raon mac léinn, ó bhunchéimithe sa chéad bhliain go hiarchéimithe sa bhliain dheiridh dá Ph.D.
